Background

It was teaching theatre and dance at a day camp in Westchester, New York, where Donna was first pulled into the world of public relations. A parent of a camper offered her an internship at BWR Public Relations, working on fashion and beauty accounts the summer before entering her senior year at the University at Buffalo. After that summer, Donna was sold on public relations and publicity.

Donna's Passion for Places

Since Donna’s first trip on an airplane at only a few months old, she has been on the move. Raised by an Israeli mother, Donna grew up fluent in Hebrew, and over the years, has picked up some French as well (although only enough to be considered ‘conversational’).

Donna spent a summer in England, studying theatre at an Oxford University summer program, and has traveled to countries, such as Germany, Poland, Mexico, Austria, Hungary, Canada, Czech Republic, and most recently, The Netherlands.

Notable Results

• Donna spearheaded a social media initiative on behalf of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau by promoting Miami Spa Month and Miami Spice, a two-month culinary event, by using Facebook as a launching pad.

On behalf of her Park City and Denver clients, Donna garnered significant media appointments with top tier publications including: Chicago Tribune, Ebony Magazine, Chicago Sun-Times, Toronto Sun, Denver Post, and others.

Managed Miami experiential media reception in New York and Toronto markets to facilitate the launching of the Miami Expressions campaign, a promotion designed spur discussion about the the creative, artistic side of Miami.
