Background
Intisar joined Development Counsellors International's account coordination team in 2001 in an entry-level position. Quickly proving she could juggle more responsibility, Intisar began handling most of DCI's presentations for both new and existing clients. She learned about the company's business through hands-on experience and today manages the account coordination team. Before joining DCI, she worked at a major company in the garment industry.
Inti's Passion for Places
Intisar was born and raised in Brooklyn and now lives in Queens. Although she's a New Yorker through and through, Intisar has roots in the South, where she admires the slower pace of life and graciousness for which the region is known. Intisar has also traveled to the Caribbean - both St. Croix and Jamaica - and finds these islands irresistible.
Intisar uses her travels to distant places to inform her work at DCI; when pulling together presentations and marketing materials, she thinks of the destinations she's visited to make sure she shows their best features and stories. One thing she's realized in meeting clients from Tasmania to Texas? People all over the world are basically the same - they share a common humanity. |
