AT WORK AT PLAY

Background

Following college at the State University of New York - Oneonta, Pat migrated to New York City. She played a supportive role in helping Ted launch Development Counsellors International. She then spent 10 years at home, parenting three sons, before working  as an elected councilperson for the City of Rye. Pat returned full time to account work at DCI in the early 1980s.

Pat's Passion for Places

For Pat, "The Big Apple" has always had a particular pull; since the the age of five, she knew she wanted to live in the city. Now splitting her time between work and life in New York City and Rye, New York, Pat believes these two cities offer the perfect balance. E.B. White’s vibrant, diverse New York City contrasts well with Rye’s "Milton Harbor" Cezanne-like views.

Around the world, Pat has never met a place she didn’t like - but she admits that her favorite locales are those that combine American history, art galleries and water sports, including places such as Charleston, South Carolina. She visits this southern city once a year and always finds a new art or history discovery.
